Reading a book

Emma decided to read me a book "No more monkeys (jumping) on the bed!". This is one of her favorite things to say...in fact, she only yelled it out about 20 times during church last night!

playhouse

We made a playhouse out of the box our patio furniture came in. Emma likes to hang out in it with a ball and a baby doll. She also likes to tumble out the "windows". This girl is fearless!

Bang bang!

What should I build today??? You can't really see it, but she's got her hammer in one hand, and her baby doll in the other. Talk about multi-tasking!

Gazing out the window

Computer genius

Emma has a toddler computer program that she loves to do...has art projects, songs, and learning activities. She like to be in control of the mouse.

SNOW!!!!

March 12th, we received about 12" of snow (top picture is looking out onto our deck). The weather on the 13th was so beautiful, that we had to go outside to play. In the next 2 pictures, Emma is standing in the snow (it just about comes to her waist!), and then she and buddy Zach are making snow angels. I pulled the 2 kids around our yard in the sled that Emma got for Christmas...it really is the first time we have been able to use it! Emma and Zach thought that it was great fun to barrel off the sled while I was trekking around the yard. The snow wasn't very good at that point for making snowmen, so we made huge piles of snow that we could play on. We played outside for an hour and a half, then came inside for a warm lunch and hot chocolate.
