Easter Egg Hunt!

After church, we went over to Auntie Sherri & Uncle Rick's house for an Easter Egg hunt. By this point in the game, Emma was getting pretty good at finding the Easter eggs (they are SO much fun to shake!). Her Grandma gave her a pretty Easter bonnet that she wore, until it got too breezy!

Easter Sunday was such a beautiful day! Emma got all dressed up to go to church. She was very excited to see her Papa!

After we finished coloring Easter eggs, Kaia & Emma came outside for a little surprise...an Easter egg hunt! The girls were so excited to try to find the eggs!

Emma's friend Kaia came over to our house the Friday before Easter, and we colored Easter Eggs. The girls thought that this was really fun! Emma really got into it (pun intended...check out her hands!) and insisted on stirring the eggs.

Introducing....PETE!

April 12th, Emma & I were outside working in our flower beds, and we found a big, juicy worm! Em thought that it was pretty cool, so she picked it up and carried the worm around for close to half an hour. At one point, I asked her what her worm's name was. She looked down at the worm and though about it for a minute, then looked up at me and said "Pete". I have no idea where she came up with the name Pete, but she was absolutely certain that it was his name. Even now, if she sees a worm, or even a picture of a worm, she says "Wohm. Pete". Today she had me draw a picture of Pete on our driveway with chalk. What a silly girl.

Play date with Henry

April 9th we had a play date with Henry (& his mommy & daddy) at the park. Henry is just 10 days younger than Emma, so they have been buddies from the start! They had so much fun going down the slide again & again. Both kiddos are completely fearless! Henry is going to be a big brother in October! Yeah!

April 7th, it was time to replenish the granola supply. Emma and I donned our aprons and set out to work in the kitchen. Yummy!

We have been so spoiled by beautiful weather here! These photos were taken April 5th. We make a regular routine of meeting Daddy for lunch at a park so we can enjoy being outside.
