So, I think that I have come pretty close to updating pictures on this site. I am going to try to do some video clips of Matthew crawling, and Emma doing her new favorite pastime...THE HOKEY POKEY.
We have been keeping busy around our house. Matthew is just about 8 months old, and he has grown by leaps and bounds. At 6 months, he weighed 17# 6 oz., and at 7 months he weighed 20# 6 oz.! Quite a gain in a month! He has been crawling and scooching around backwards, but yesterday finally figured out how to move forwards. Look out world...here comes Matthew!
Emma continues to be a great big sister and helper around the house. You can find her wherever I am, soing whatever I am doing. We love to bake together and sing songs and dance silly dances. Thanks to Dora the Explorer, she is running around the house shouting Spanish phrases at us. I work with her on French, though, and she really has good pronunciation!

Friends
Emma and Matthew had so much fun with their friends Henry (with Emma) and Elsie (with Matthew). All 4 had a great day of playing together at our house. Henry is Emma's "oldest" friend (they have known each other since birth, and Henry is just 11 days younger than Em).

Matthew was so excited to have his cousin Jackson come back to town for Christmas! Look at how big they are!
Emma got a Dora castle for Christmas, and she loves playing with this! She is a very imaginitve little girl!

This was Matthew's first adventure with big boy food, and he took to it like he had been eating it forever. This boy sure has a healthy appetite!

Beautiful Emma.Halloween
Emma wanted to be a pirate for Halloween, and she was awfully cute! Matthew had his 4 month appointment at the doctor that morning, so he was a little on the crabby side. For that reason, we didn't really dress him up much, but he was a "biker boy".

We were blessed to have Papa baptize Matthew in October. We had lots of family around to celebrate with us.
